Company history

Company Celpo spol. s.r.o., that was created in March 2003, is the biggest manufacturer of whole-meal puffed products in Slovakia. On the beginning were all manufactural activities located in rental spaces in areal of Poľnonákupu in Brezinky. 

In June 2006 was company rehoused to its own space on address Areál PPS 1171, Detva, that was reconstructed beforehand.

 

Name of the company was created by combining two words from Slovak, that characterize main focus of the company – “CELozrnné POtraviny” (translated: Whole-meal groceries). To the portfolio had company slowly added whole-meal products made from wheat and rice, later adding even products made from corn or soya. Nowadays is company making whole-meal breads from wide range health beneficial raw materials such as husked spelt, buckwheat, rye, oat and is able to enrich products by other super materials (chia, quinoa, amarant, …) or spices.

One of the outstanding milestone for company was also development of double technology for manufacturing grains, which helped to make new products softer and tastier, yet still save in them all the benefits of the classical whole-meal pastries. This way were slowly welcomed to the world new products with glazes named “Extra jemné” (Extra Soft) and salty products “CelpoFit Snack” or natural products “100% Natural”.

Since year 2014 is Celpo certificated by IFS certification and since 2016 company owns Bio certificate, thanks to which can company offer to customers its portfolio in Bio quality.

Main goal of the company is production of quality whole-meal products, dependability towards stakeholders, integrity and respectability, creativity and innovations in health nurture. Products made by our company can be found in Slovakia, in Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Croatia or Germany.
